[BCB:351:UKI - Sage Network upgrade latest version:ECB] The settings menu for Sage Connect shows various settings used to control the integration.
Here's an explanation of each option: Data sync configuration tabSync FrequencyBy default, your data will sync every day at around midnight. You don't need Sage 50 Accounts open for the sync to take place, but your computer needs to be turned on as the sync uses the Sage 50 Accounts Data Service to sync your data with Sage Connect. You can change how often your information is updated by using the drop-down menu. It's best to update it every hour so that your information is available in Sage Connect whenever you need it.
Next scheduled syncThe date and time of the next scheduled data sync will be displayed here. There is also a button to Sync data now which will trigger a manual sync of the data if you require it.
Disable automatic syncYou can use this option to disable the automatic data sync to Sage Network. We don't recommend disabling this option as you'll have to manually sync data to see it within Sage Connect. NOTE: To change this setting, you'll need to be connected to the computer that initially set up the connection to Sage Network. A message here will show the name of the computer you'll need to be connected to.
Disconnect optionIf you no longer want to use Sage Network, you can disconnect the feature using this button. NOTE: This does not close your account with Sage Network, you'll need to contact them from the Sage Network application to request your account is closed.
Change API KeyYour API key is a unique record which you shouldn't need to change. However, in the event of certain technical issues, the Sage Network Team will direct you to this option if required. They will provide you with the new API key if a change is needed.
PDF sync configuration tabPDF sync settingsYou can enable or disable PDF sync using the first button in the list. NOTE: PDF sync only works in Sage 50 Accounts v29.2 and above.
Layout selection Click Browse to select the layout you'd like to use for PDF sync. TIP: Changes made here apply to new invoices created after making the change. Existing documents will not be updated. |
