Resolution

There are two methods to manually match your Bank feed transactions with your Sage transactions; drag and drop or manual select and match. We've explained how both of these options work below.

Drag and drop

Drag your bank transaction over the desired Sage transaction and drop to match them together. If you want to match multiple transactions to the same Sage or Bank feed transaction, just repeat the process by dragging and dropping each one. Once the value of the Bank feed and Sage transactions match, they'll be moved to the Confirmed tab automatically.

Manual select and match

Click the bank and Sage transactions you want to match. When the Selected difference amount in the top right shows 0.00, click Match selection

Part-matched transactions

If the value of the selected Bank and Sage transaction do not match exactly, a Part-matched badge is shown. When the amounts match, the transactions are automatically moved into the Confirmed tab. When transactions are part-matched you can create a transaction for the remaining amount.

Ignore transactions

To ignore a transaction, for example, a duplicate just click to highlight the transaction and then click Ignore selection. Ignored transactions can be viewed and restored by clicking the View ignored button at the top right of the Bank feeds window. Find out more >

Create a new Sage transaction

If you don't have a Sage transaction to match against a Bank feed transaction, just click the Create option on your bank transaction and choose the type of transaction you'd like to create. For more information see our Bank Feeds - Create Transactions article.

Next steps
