Sage 200 Product Lifecycle

Dear Partner,

Further to our email on 22 December 2022, we wanted to thank those partners who took the time to respond to our survey, your feedback is really important to us. We’ve reviewed all the responses and wanted to provide you with an update.

As a result, with immediate effect, we’ll be evolving our lifecycle policy with the following key changes:

R1 and R2 end of support dates will be split, i.e., 2023 R1 will be retired when 2026 R1 is released, 2023 R2 when 2026 R2 is released.

This has been reflected in our lifecycle policy, lifecycle knowledgebase article and our lifecycle policy partner FAQ.

We’re also changing the period in which additional users can be purchased after a version has end of support. This will be on average 24 months, it will be clearly noted when selecting the version on the relevant tab in the pricing calculator – a new version will be updated to partner hub on 01 March 2023.

Furthermore, there were a number of comments supplied in the survey, we want to address these and make the responses available to all partners via a Q&A.
