Allocation Methods:
Customer Receipt Method
At the time of creating a customer receipt you can select multiple outstanding QE sales invoices and allocate them against the one customer receipt. If you use this allocation method and at later date you need to know which QE sales invoices are allocated against the one receipt, the below steps will guide you on where to see them.
- Click on the Contacts tab than Customers and click on appropriate customer.
- Under the customer Activity, click on the appropriate Customer Receipt. On the customer receipt screen all associated QE Sales Invoices will be displayed.
Customer Allocation Method
You can also create a customer payment on account and at a later date you can allocate that payment on account to multiple outstanding QE sales invoices. If you use this allocation method and later want to find which QE sales invoices are allocated against this customer allocation the below steps will guide you on where to see them.
- Click on the Contacts tab then Customers then click on appropriate customer.
- Under the customer Activity, click on the appropriate Customer Allocation, on this Account Allocation screen you will find all QE sales invoices associated with the customer payment on account.
