Show or hide a ledger account
Description

You can't always find every ledger account when you enter a transaction. Sage Accounting limits each ledger account to certain transaction types so you don't post entries to the wrong place.

EXAMPLE:

You can only use sales ledger accounts on sales transactions and receipts by default.

If you want to use a ledger account in a different area, change its visibility. If you no longer use a ledger account at all, hide it.

If you haven't used a ledger account on any transaction, you can delete it instead. For details, see Delete a ledger account.

NOTE:

You can't hide control accounts. Sage Accounting uses these ledger accounts when you create transactions. Ledger accounts with balances still appear on your reports, even when you hide them.
