The Sales list
Description

The Sales Invoices tab shows every invoice you've entered for your customers. Check the invoice date, customer amount and status all in one place.

You can easily filter the list to show all of your invoices, outstanding, overdue, paid or draft invoices.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Go to Sales.
  2. Select Sales Invoices.

From here you can:

  • Create a new invoice
  • View details of an existing invoice by selecting it on the list
  • Search for a particular transaction by company name, transaction number or the total value of the invoice

Configure columns

You can change the information that appears on the sales list by selecting the cog icon.

Select the checkboxes for the information you want to show on the list. Select the up and down arrows to change the order of the headings. Ensure you save your changes to view the new configuration.

The action toolbar

The action toolbar appears when you select the checkbox next to one or more invoices.

From the toolbar, you can do one of the following:

Print The sales list opens in a new window or tab and you can print it from your browser menu.
Email Use this option to email a copy of the invoice as an attachment. If you've selected invoices for different customers, you can send separate emails to each.
CSV Depending on your Internet browser, the sales list either downloads automatically or you receive a prompt asking you to save the file.
PDF Use this option to download a PDF copy of the invoice. Depending on your Internet browser, it downloads automatically or you receive a prompt asking you to save the file.
Copy Use this option to copy an existing invoice. This is useful if you repeatedly create invoices for the same items and customer. This option only appears when you select a single invoice.
Delete Use this option to delete or void a transaction. We void non-draft invoices instead of deleting them. This helps you meet compliance requirements and keeps invoice numbers in sequence.
