Viewing your Stripe activity in Sage
Description

Once you’ve connected Stripe to Sage Accounting, your customers can make card payments directly from your emailed invoices. You can also take your customer’s card information and apply a payment directly to their invoice.

The Stripe account in Sage Accounting is different than your other bank accounts. You can't connect it to a bank feed, import statements, initiate a transfer (in or out), or perform a manual reconciliation.

Furthermore, Sage Accounting automatically manages the Stripe balance; you can't manually adjust it with transactions.

  2. Click a transaction to open its details. From this page, you can see the following:
  3. Total amount charged.
  4. Stripe fee amount.
  5. Net amount you received in your bank account, and more.
  6. Optionally, you can click the invoice number to view the related invoice.
  7. Close the dialogue to return to the Stripe bank activity page.

Accessing the Stripe Dashboard

After setting up your integration, you can also view transactions on the Stripe Dashboard. To access it, go to Banking then click View Dashboard on the Stripe account. Don't attempt to process Accounting transactions from the Stripe Dashboard.

VAT on Stripe fees

Stripe's Irish base categorizes its fees as EU reverse charges. Though exempt, they'll appear in VAT Return boxes 6 and 7
