Bank activity

The Activity tab shows transactions posted to this bank account. You can:

  • Search for transactions by reference or value
  • View transactions between a specified date range
  • Select Filters to view certain transaction types by choosing the relevant option from the Type drop-down list
  • View or edit details of receipts and payments. To do this click the relevant receipt or payment
  • View if a transaction appears cleared or reconciled

View bank activity in chronological order

When viewing your bank activity, it is sometimes useful to have it arranged chronologically.

To put your bank account activity in date order:

  1. Select the Date column heading at the top of the transaction list on the Activity tab.
  2. This will display the oldest transactions first.
  3. Select the heading again to reverse this order.

Addresses and contacts

If required, you can amend the main address and contact details in the Addresses & Contacts tab. You can only have one address per bank account; however, you can add additional contacts if required. To do this simply select Add Address / Contact and complete the relevant information. You can also change which contact is the main contact for this bank account by selecting the Main Contact check box.

If you need to delete a contact, select the Delete icon. You can’t delete the main contact. If you need to do this, create the new contact first, set them as the main contact, then select the Delete icon.

Reconciliations

From the Reconciliations tab, you can view previous reconciliations. Here you can see the statement date, who performed the reconciliation, the reference, and the starting and closing balances.

To view details of the reconciliation, select the relevant line. To print the reconciliation, select Print. Depending on your browser, the report opens in a new tab or window and from here you can save or print the PDF.
