Run the installer - If you don't already have the installer to hand, download it from our download and install Sage 50 Payroll article.
- Close all Sage software.
- Browse to the installer, right-click on it and select Run as Administrator.
- Follow the on screen instructions to install the update.

This appears because you don't currently have administrator rights on your Windows username. The installer requires admin rights to be able to place all the required files on your computer.
To ensure it can do this, we recommend you use the run as administrator option on the software update.
