| Description | When you install a software update, you may see the error: 'The username you’re currently logged into Windows with doesn’t have Administrator rights.
Run the installer- If you don't already have the installer handy, download it from our download and install Sage 50 Payroll guide.
- Close all Sage software.
- Browse to the installer, right click on it and click Run as Administrator.
- Follow the on screen instructions to install the update.

If you continue, you may experience issues during your installation.'
This is because the installer needs to place files in several folders on your computer.
To ensure it can do this, we recommend you use the run as administrator option.
