What's New?For all Sage 200 variants the 2022 R2 release includes:In this release, we have introduced new web screens and some great new features to support a customer’s sales process. Below is a taster of the new web screens, features, and functionality, check out the detailed What's New Datasheet(s)* for further information. *coming soon Better user experience, greater flexibility with new web screens | Providing the best user experience, via a flexible, accessible, and modern Business Management solution, is why we continue to improve and add to the web screen functionality available within Sage 200. This release of Sage 200 (all variants) includes SOP despatch web screens extending the sales efficiency, customer service, and service expectations when creating a Sales Order for a customer. | Allowing customers, the ability to self-serve and track orders reducing the need for admin | Automating the tracking process for Sage 200 customers by adding a tracking link to see the progress of an order online. This will save time and give an improved customer experience while meeting the continuing increased expectations of your customers and moving towards automation. The link can also be added to a despatch note to allow their customers to automate the tracking process. | Complete confidence Sage will help you stay compliant | Changes to the rules around Intrastat in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are included in this update to help all businesses with the changes to imports and exports. Stay compliant with all the latest legislation confident Sage 200 will help you navigate the constantly changing legislation. | New API fields and changes to API functionality expanding automation | The new API extensions open the door to a wider ecosystem of applications (ISV Solutions), increasing the services and automation work flows available, allowing you to connect your business and build a truly custom-made solution to meet your specific business's needs. Continued development and improvements to the Sage 200 API guarantees a more seamless sharing of data and process automation between Sage 200 and integrated applications, significantly enhancing the user experience. | Sage refreshed the brand to reflect the changing needs of its customers | Refreshed brand is a symbol of the insights and experiences Sage customers will get as part of the trusted network for Small and Mid-Size Businesses (SMBs). The new version has updated the web screens to reflect the new branding, with a subset being applied to the desktop. | Guidance on how to install the ‘on-prem’ installation onto Microsoft Azure | Applicable to Sage 200 Professional Only - this will allow partners to install the product on Azure with the necessary configuration changes. Please note this will not support the connection to elastic pools (SPC USP). The connection to elastic pools is via technology called the provisioning engine this will not be made available outside the Sage Provisioning Portal. |

Important InformationThe deployment of Sage 200 Professional via the Sage Partner Cloud program will be made available in the Sage Provisioning Portal from Friday 26 August. From this date this is the only version the portal will automatically deploy. This doesn't make any changes to existing customers already using the product variant. We’ll be talking to partners about the upgrade process over the coming months.
