With Sage 50 Payroll, you can submit CIS deductions suffered in an Employer Payment Summary (EPS). However, HMRC only accepts this submission if you enter your CTR. If your business doesn't have a CTR, for example because of your company status, you need to take extra steps. HMRC advice In line with HMRC requirements, your software only allows you to submit a CIS value if there's a CTR in your company settings. We recommend you check your Government Gateway online account for any notifications on your options to submit CIS. Failing this, contact HMRC to check if there's a 10 digit reference number that you can add in the CTR field. If not, ask if there's an alternative way for you to submit CIS suffered values. |
