Sage 200 Upgrades for Licence Expiry, TLS and Internet Explorer Notice 22-DY | 01 February 2022 Dear Partner, In continuation of our communications in respect to customer upgrades due to technology changes/retirement, we wanted to say thank you to all the partners that validated the versions currently in use with customers. We will be updating our systems with the information provided. Patches and availabilityWe’ll be making patches available as follows: - Sage Licencing Service (SLS)
- Summer 2018 (2018.00 – excl. remastered version)
- Winter 2018 (2018.01)
- Spring 2019 (2018.02)
- Bank feeds (Internet Explorer retirement)
- Summer 2018 up to and including 2020 R1 (6 versions)
- This is only required for customers who use the bank feeds service, the impact is minimal.
- Invoice Payments (Internet Explorer retirement)
- Summer 2018 up to and including 2021 R1 (8 versions)
- This functionality represents a small subset of customers, so the impact is minimal.
Patch development will start immediately following the release of Sage 200 2022 R1. We’ll upload the patches, adding the unique links to this knowledgebase article. We won’t wait until all the patches are ready before they’re released, they’ll be added to the article as soon as we’ve concluded testing. The approach will be from the oldest Sage 200 version first. We won’t send a communication with each release – there’d be too many! Please bookmark this article, checking regularly to get the patches as soon as they are available. Additional Patch!Further to the information provided by partners on current customer versions in use, as an exception to our Lifecycle policy, we’ll be providing a TLS patch for Spring 2018 (2017.02). By delivering this additional patch, it allows partners to ensure more customers can be reached in advance of the deadline (30 September 2022), creating more focus on customers that need full product version upgrades. This should be seen as an exception and not the norm, in line with our Lifecycle policy and does not guarantee any other patches or defects for products outside our current supported versions in the future. An important partner message from our VP of Partners.Got a question? We’ve continued to update the overview document and the FAQs contained within, please ensure you are using the latest copy.
