It's easy to enable SER in your software.
Click Company then click Settings.
Select the Eligible for Small Employers' Relief check box then click OK.
You've now set Sage 50 Payroll up to calculate small employers' relief. When you process statutory parental payments, our software calculates SER on the P32 report.
Important information
Changes you make to the Eligible for Small Employers' Relief check box don't recalculate any payments you've already processed.
If you're eligible for SER and processed any statutory parental payments without SER enabled, SER doesn't calculate for these.
To resolve this, rollback those pay periods and enable SER, then reprocess them for your software to calculate SER. For help with using rollback, follow the how to use the rollback option article.
