Sage Provisioning Portal: Frequently Asked Questions for partners
Description

Q: The variant of Sage 200 I am trying to implement isn’t available on the portal, why?

A: The portal is set up to provide access to the products based on your partner status and your accreditation status. You have the options to deploy Standard or Professional. You can choose to do one of the products, or both.

If you already have existing customers, your access to create new sites may have been removed as you no longer fulfil our criteria to deploy new sites. Please contact your account manager or [email protected].

If you have not deployed any customers for this variant previously, you need to complete all partner criteria and you access to the portal for the product will be added within 72 hours of you completing your course. Please contact your account manager or [email protected]

Q: As a partner I sell to customers in UK and Ireland what do I need to do?

A: The Sage Provisioning portal is split into regions and UK and Ireland are separate regions.

Customers in Northern Ireland should be sold through the UK Provisioning portal and will be billed in sterling.

Customers in the republic of Ireland should be sold through the Irish Provisioning portal and will be billed in Euro.

The link to access the portal is the same, it is the login that determines the access. For any partners that sell in both regions you will need to set up email address aliases to manage this as an email address can only exist in one region. For example [email protected] could be used for UK and [email protected] could be used for Ireland. It is advisable to set the alias to be connected to your main partner email address.

Please note it is important to set the customer up in the right portal as they cannot be transferred and will need to be redeployed.

Q. How will I know if I have received a bill for additional online storage for my partner copy?

A. Your invoice will be generated on the 1st working day of the month.

The amount of additional data being used will show in the quantity with a unit price of £10.

The description will show as S200 Extra Online Addi Storage.

As per the image below the Customer Reference will read ASA 38393 - this refers you to this article which is our guidance for test sites and partner entitlement.

The value is for your use for the month ahead and is in line with how we bill for our other products.

The invoice is subject to VAT.
