I don't have a welcome email - Sage HR Online Services
Description

When your employer sets you up for Sage HR Online Services, they send you a welcome email. This invites you to access their Sage HR company to view your payslips. You use this welcome email to create your Sage account login if you don't have one already.

If you don't have a welcome email from your employer, this is usually because of the following:

  • Your employer entered your email address incorrectly when they set you up
  • Your employer used a different email address, for example, if you have another personal or work email address
  • The welcome email is in your junk folder
  • Your email security is blocking the welcome email

NOTE: If you do have a welcome email but it's expired, your employer can resend you a new welcome email.

There are only a few things within your control that you can check. We run through these in the section below.

Cause
Resolution

Check your junk or spam folder

Check to see if the welcome email is in your junk or spam folder. If you find it, the link within it has likely expired. Ask your employer to resend you a new welcome email

Check your email security

Ensure your email security does not block the email addresses:

Confirm what email address your employer has used

Check with your employer that they've used the correct email address for you when they set you up.

TIP: It can be common for an employer not to spot a typo when they check your email address. Ask them for a screenshot of your email address in Sage HR so you can confirm it yourself.

If the email address is wrong, they can set you up again with the correct email address to send you the welcome email.

Contact your employer

If you've completed all these checks but still aren't getting a welcome email contact your employer. Only their admin user can contact Sage support to investigate this further. This is because they have access to the software to resolve this issue.

TIP: If you have a different email address you can use, ask your employer to try that email address to see if that works. If you urgently need payslips, your employer can email them directly from their payroll software.
