When clicking Help > Check Internet for updates, the Available Updates window may not appear in Sage Accounts Production (SAP).

The network configuration setting is set as disabled.

1. Open SAP, click Help and select Auto update configuration.
2. Make a note of the shared updates location and close SAP.
   TIP: The default location for updates is C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts Production\Updates
3. Open File Explorer, you can open File Explorer from the Windows Start menu or by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and the letter 'E'.
4. Browse to the location you noted in step 2 and right-click install.ini then click Open with and choose Notepad.
5. Locate the Line UpdateMode=Disable and change it to UpdateMode=Enable.
6. Click File and click Save, then click File and click Exit.
7. Open SAP and click Help check Internet for updates the available updates windows will be displayed.
8. To access the update, click Check Now then follow the on-screen prompts.
