You must produce a P60 for all employees that your clients employ as of 5 April. The deadline to issue the P60 to each employee is 31 May.
You don't need to produce a P60 for any employee who leaves on 4 April or earlier.
Once you send your final submission of the tax year, you can upload your P60s. You can choose to either publish them straightaway or, to schedule a date to publish them.

Upload Online P60s
Go to Payroll, then Change Process Date and set it to 05/04/2026.
Go to Payroll Year End, then click Choose Tax Year.
Ensure the tax year is 2025/2026, and the reports date is 05/04/26, click OK.
Now click Produce P60s, then click Upload.
Check the information in the summary is correct.
NOTE:
If you'd like a print-out of the summary for your records, select Print Summary.
Click Upload. A confirmation message appears that your P60s have been uploaded and are ready to publish.
To publish your P60s straight away, click Login and Publish P60s.
Enter your Sage ID and click Sign In.
If not all employees appear, in Sage 50 Payroll ensure you have enabled Online Documents in the employee record before you upload P60s.
Publish your P60s
Click P60s, then Pending P60s.
Ensure the tax year filter is set to show the required year
Select the check box next to each employee you'd like to publish.
Or, to publish all employee P60s, select the check box in the column heading
Click Publish P60s.
Click Publish immediately, then click Update P60s.
Or, select Publish on the following date.
Enter the date, then click Update P60s.
To view the P60s that have been published, click Published P60s.
