This communication was sent 08 January 2021. Essential Software Maintenance Sage 200 Standard / Sage for Education / Sage 200 Extra Online Notice 21-D | 08 January 2021 Dear Partner, We’d like to let you know about some product updates we have planned over the coming days. The changes needed to the product will be actioned out of hours and made automatically by Sage. The updates will not impact all customers. What does this mean for customers? 11 January 2021, 20:00 – 00:00 the following versions will be unavailable: - Sage 200 Standard
- Sage for Education
- Sage 200 Extra Online
18 January 2021, 20:00 – 00:00 the following versions will be unavailable: We’ve added a maintenance announcement to LaunchPad in-product for Standard & Education this morning. We’d ask you to inform your Extra Online customers in advance of both maintenance windows. What are the upcoming changes? Postponed Accounting for Republic of Ireland: Our What's New communication outlined that we would build postponed accounting into the following versions: - Sage 200 Professional 2020 R2
- Sage 200 Standard / Sage for Education 2020 R4
- Sage 200 Extra Online December 2020 Update
As the legislation has now been ratified by the Irish Government, we will remotely activate the functionality on 11 January during the maintenance window. Sage 200 Intrastat Declarations We’ve identified an issue that prevents Intrastat Declarations from being run for dates on or after January 2021. So, we will update the software to include a fix as follows: - 11 January 2021 – Standard & Education
- 18 January 2021 – Extra Online
As these are monthly reports, there should be no impact to customers and the automatic software update will address this prior to your customers’ next declaration. Sage 200 Menu We’ve identified the following issue: - Unable to add custom reports to the menu - the reports can still be run from report designer – this affects the Standard & Education variants and will be fixed as part of the update on 11th January.
