How do I view the value of my fixed assets?
Description

Asset Valuation and balance sheet

There are several reasons why these figures would differ from the totals on your nominal ledger and balance sheet. For example:

  • Transactions relating to assets are posted to the nominal ledger but not to the Fixed assets register
  • Depreciation may have been posted manually in the nominal ledger
  • Assets records may have been deleted in error
  • The chart of accounts may not include all relevant nominal codes
