| Description | You can use the loans option in Global Changes to: - Add a loan
- Remove a loan
- Change the normal deduction rate
- Change the loan amount

Resolution | Add a loan - On the Employee List, select the required employees.
- Click Tasks then click Global Changes.
- Click Loans then click Add Loan.
- Select the required loan.
- Enter the required loan start date.
- Click OK.
- To confirm that you want to add the loan to the specified number of employees, click Yes.
Remove a loan - On the Employee List, select the required employees.
- Click Tasks then click Global Changes.
- Click Loans then click Remove Loan.
- Select the required loan.
- Click OK.
- To confirm that you want to remove the loan from the specified number of employees, click Yes.
Change the amount of the loan - On the Employee List, select the required employees.
- Click Tasks then click Global Changes.
- Click Loans then click Change Loan Amount.
- Select the following:
- Description: The loan you want to amend.
- Operation: How you would like to amend the loan.
- Amount: The amount or percentage you would like to change the normal deduction rate by.
- Rounding: How you would like Sage 50 Payroll to round the normal deduction rate.
- Click OK.
- To confirm that you want to amend the normal deduction rate for the specified number of employees, click Yes.

Change the normal deduction rate - On the Employee List, select the required employees.
- Click Tasks then click Global Changes.
- Click Loans then click Change NDR.
- Select the following:
- Description: The loan you want to amend.
- Operation: How you would like to amend the loan.
- Amount: The amount or percentage you would like to change the loan by.
- Rounding: How you would like Sage 50 Payroll to round the amount.
- Click OK.
- To confirm that you want to amend the normal deduction rate for the specified number of employees, click Yes.
