Stop a custom alert from appearing
Description

If you no longer want a custom alert to show, you can disable or delete it with some quick and simple steps.

NOTE: Custom alerts are available in Sage 50 Accounts v27 and above

Disable a custom alert

  1. Click Customers, Suppliers or Products and services.
  2. Double-click the record to open it, then click Edit.
  3. Click Alerts, click the alert you want to disable, then click Edit
  4. Select Disable this alert.
  5. Click Save.

This alert now shows No in the Active column and no longer appears when processing. If you want to enable the alert again just clear the Disable this alert check box.


Delete a custom alert

  1. Click Customers, Suppliers or Products and services.
  2. Double-click the record to open it, then click Edit.
  3. Click Alerts, click the alert you want to delete, then click Delete.
  4. To delete the alert, click Yes.

That's it. you've now deleted the alert.
