Customer activity reports
Description

Customer activity reports show which transactions have been posted to each customer account. This allows you to show which customers you have posted specific transactions to.

Run a Customer Activity report
  1. Click Customers, then click Reports.
  2. Select Customer Activity, then select the report you want to run:

    DetailedItemised transactions for each customer.
    SummaryAn overview of each customers transactions. Any transactions posted with the same date and reference will be grouped together.
    With Foreign ValuesThe transactions will appear in the currency the customer is set up to use.
    Excluding no transactionsThese reports will hide customer accounts with no activity in the range you specify.
    Customer RefundsThese reports only show SP (Sales Payment) transactions.
    Flat Rate Customer RefundsThese reports only show SP (Sales Payment) transactions, with a column to show the flat rate tax amount.
  3. Click Preview and complete the criteria window:

    Customer RefSelect a range of customer records, or leave this to run the report for all records.
    Transaction DateThe date range of the transactions that will make up the report.
    Transaction NoThe number range of the transactions that will make up the report.
    Nominal CodeSelect a range of nominal codes, or leave this to run the report for all codes.
    Department numberSelect a sequential range of department numbers that will make up the report.
    Inc B/Fwd TranInclude any brought forward balances on the report. These balances will appear as one transaction at the start of each customers activity.
    Exc Later PaymentsThis option ignores any later payments made against invoices, credit notes or payment on account transactions.

It's possible to run a report to show customers who have had no activity during a specified date range.

A Customer Inactivity Report is available from the Advanced Reports Library, or you can create your own.
