Report Designer - the sign function
Description

When editing your reports and layouts, you can use the Sign function to control positive and negative numbers, or how credit and debit values are displayed.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Select the document you want to amend, then click Edit.
  2. On the menu bar click Report, click Report Properties.
  3. Enter a new report name and description, then click OK.
  4. Select the required variable.
  5. In the properties pane, select one of the below options from the Sign drop-down:
    SignedShows a sign such as -, +.
    UnsignedRemoves signs such as -, +.
    ReversedShows the opposite sign for the information returned.
    DebitOnly shows debit values.
    CreditOnly show credit values.
  6. On the menu bar click File, click Save As.
  7. Enter a new file name then click Save.
  8. On the menu bar click File, then click Exit.
