Resolution

We are providing a new onboarding journey for Sage 200 Professional sites wishing to share data between systems via our API and / or connect to the Self Service Web App remotely. This aligns with our Sage 200 Standard variant giving a consistent approach to onboarding and remote access across the Sage 200 product range.

The new method, uses Microsoft AAD is a more cost effective and secure alternative eliminating the need for a web server, web certificate, ongoing hardware and software support.

With immediate effect, sites using the Sage 200 API connected via Sage ID and an external facing web server enter extended support until 31 March 2021. The current setup will continue to work, allowing enough time for a migration to be undertaken.
