Sage does not support the creation of new or the customisation of the standard Power BI reports or dashboard.

Prerequisites

• Sage 200 Standard or Sage 200 Professional Spring 2019 Enhancements (or above).
• One of the following Microsoft 365 Licences: Business Premium, Enterprise E1, E3 or E5, Office A1, A3 or A5. This must also include Azure Active Directory Premium P1/Premium P2.
• A Power BI Desktop licence or if you wish to collaborate and share a Power BI Pro licence.

As of July 2019, Microsoft are no longer offering new subscriptions to Azure Active Directory Basic. Existing subscriptions will be unaffected.

Restrictions

Data represented in the Sage 200 Power BI reports may not be accurate in the following circumstances:

• If amendments have been made to the report.
• If amendments have been made to the calculations, visualizations or measures.
• If the report is a new bespoke report.
• If the data sources have been amended (including attempting to combine multiple data sources in a single report).

 Further limitations and considerations 

• Reports may show limited information when reporting on features which are not available or used in a particular variation of the product or dataset.
• Reports may show limited information if transactions have been archived in the database.
• Reports may show limited information where data is not present for a previous financial year.
• Is only as good as the data entered by the customer.
• Does not include balance brought forward accounts.
• Values shown will be in base currency.
• The information displayed may not be accurate if the data size exceeds the maximum limits set out by Power BI.
• Power BI does not always sort stacked column chart visualisation consistently (even when there are recurring patterns), it is not possible to define or change the sort order on the chart.
