| Resolution | Windows 11 - Right-click on the Start button and click Settings.
- Click System then select scroll down and click Optional features.
- Click More Windows features.
- Look at the checkbox to the left of .NET Framework 4.8 Advanced Services. If the check box is:
- Selected, skip ahead to Step 6
- Cleared, continue to Step 5 to enable it
- Click the + icon to the left of .NET Framework 4.8, and select the options within until you select them all.
- Look at the checkbox to the left of .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0). If the check box is:
- Selected, skip ahead to Step 8
- Cleared, continue to Step 7 to enable it
- Click the + icon to the left of Frameworks 3.5 and 4.8, and select the options within until you select them all.
- Click OK then click Restart now.
- Reinstall Sage 50 Payroll. For help with doing this, visit our download and install Sage 50 Payroll article.
Windows 10 - Press the Windows key
type Control Panel in the search bar, click to open. - Click Programs then click Programs and Features.
- Click Turn Windows features on or off then check the .NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Services check box. If the check box is:
- Selected, skip ahead to Step 7 to reinstall your software
- Cleared, continue to Step 4 to enable it
- Click Turn Windows features on or off, select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box. If the check box is:
- Selected, skip ahead to Step 7 to reinstall your software
- Cleared, continue to Step 4 to enable it
- Select the .NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Services check box.
- Click OK then click Restart now.
