After you change a client’s year end date, the Formatted Trial Balance can still display the previous comparative date in the header.

Use these steps to update the comparative date manually in the Formatted Trial Balance header.

1. Select Pages, then choose the Headers and footers tab.
2. In the Description column, double-click Formatted trial balance header.
   The page opens.
3. Select cell G9 to highlight it.
4. Select the T icon on the toolbar.
5. Remove the &UB1 formula from Enter Text.
6. Enter the correct comparative date, then select OK.
7. Select the Save Page icon on the toolbar to keep your changes.
