Description |
If another user has downloaded the software, a message may appear to advise that no updates are available, alternatively, the download may freeze with a status of "downloading" . This can also occur if antivirus or firewall software interrupts the download. |
Resolution | Reset the status- Open File Explorer, to do this you can either choose File Explorer from the Windows Start menu or press the Windows button and the letter E on your keyboard.
- Browse to C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts Production\Updates
- Right-click SageAPupdates.xml and click Rename, then rename the file as SageAPupdatesOLD.xml
- Open Sage Accounts Production and click Help and select Check Internet for updates
- Click Check Now
