Download the Sage MTD Adapter >
- Enter your Sage log in details, then click Sign In.
If you don't have a Sage login, click Create a Sage logon then follow the on-screen prompts.
- Click Download, then if prompted to save the file, make a note of the name and browse to where you want to save it.
Depending on your browser, the file may automatically save to your downloads folder. To open your downloads folder, on your keyboard press Ctrl+J.
Install the Adapter- Close all software then browse to the downloaded file.
- Double-click the SageMTDforVAT.msi file.
- Click Next, select the I accept the terms of the Agreement check box, then click Next.
- Click Install, then click Finish.
- On the Windows desktop, double-click the Sage MTD Submissions Module shortcut.
- Enter your Sage account number and your serial number then click OK.
You can find these on your Subscription Confirmation email.
Once you register with HMRC for Making Tax Digital, you can use the Sage MTD Adapter to submit your VAT Returns.
