You can check if your data is held on another computer in your software.

1. Open Sage Accounts in the relevant company.
   If you can't access your company, you maybe able to check the Data Path in the Select Company window.
2. Click Help then click About.
3. Under Program Details, the location of where the data is held is shown under Data Directory.
   
   As a rule, if this path starts with C:\ the data is held on the computer you're on, if the path starts with \\ the data is held on a different computer. If you're not sure, please contact your IT support.
