Overseas businesses registered for UK VAT and with a UK taxable turnover in excess of the threshold will also need to comply with Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT requirements.

NOTE: From 1 April 2022, all VAT registered businesses must sign up for MTD for VAT, even if their taxable turnover is below the VAT registration threshold.
