Set Microsoft Outlook as the default email provider in Sage Report Designer

How to check or change the setting in Sage so that the software uses Microsoft Outlook to send your emails.
Cause
Resolution

Check the setting

  1. In any module, go to Reports then select any report.
  2. Select the Edit button.
  3. In the Sage Report Designer window, go to Tools then select Options.
  4. In the Options window, go to the Email Setup tab.
  5. In the Default Provider dropdown list, select Microsoft Outlook.
  6. Press OK.
  7. In the Sage Report Designer window, go to File then select Save All.
  8. Go to File then select Exit.

If you're prompted to save changes and you haven't amended the actual report or layout, press No. The software has already saved your mail provider settings.
