P11D year end statutory forms
Description

As part of your P11D year end routine, you must submit the following forms to HMRC. HMRC have approved each of the forms in Sage 50 P11D. This means you don't need stationery from HMRC to print your forms.


P11Ds

You must complete this form for each director and employee you provided with expenses and benefits during the tax year.

The form records benefits in kind received by the employee or a member of their household, which are subject to a taxable charge and, or, Class 1A National Insurance (NI) contributions.

You must submit completed P11D forms for the 2023/24 tax year to HMRC and give a copy to your employees by 6 July 2024.


Employer's P11D(b) Declaration Form

Form P11D(b), the Employer's Declaration, reports the total employee expenses and benefits that subject them to a Class 1A National Insurance liability.

Submission deadline

You must submit your completed P11D(b) form for the 2023/2024 tax year to HMRC by 6 July 2024.

Payment deadline

Pay any outstanding Class 1A National Insurance liability to HMRC by 22 July 2024 for the 2023/2024 tax year, or by 19 July 2024 if paying by post.


Form P46 (Car)

In addition to the year end statutory forms, form P46 (Car) is submitted to HMRC within 28 days of the end of each quarter to 5 July, 5 October, 5 January and 5 April.

You can't submit Form P46(Car) online to HMRC using Sage 50 P11D. Instead submit these on HMRC's website.
