Resolution | Delete a car and mileage record If you're not certain whether you need to keep car or mileage details, contact HMRC for advice. - Back up your data.
NOTE: The only way you can recover a car record after deleting it is to restore a backup from before you deleted it. - Select the relevant employee, click Employee then click Employee Record.
- Under the Cars/Fuel tab, Check the correct car details appear.
- If the employee has more than one car, click the finder button to the right of the Car Registration box. Select the registration number of the relevant car then click OK
- Click Remove Car, then click the relevant option:
- Remove Mileage, retain record to keep the car details and delete the Mileage record only
- Remove ALL details to delete all car details and mileage information
- Click Finish then Yes to confirm the deletion of the car and mileage records.
- Click Save then click Close.
