In Sage 50 Payroll, you can import employee information, using Comma-Separated Value (CSV) files.
To import timesheet details you can use your software to create a template, using timesheet entry.
When you create an import file to import data in to your software, we recommend you use our Excel templates.
These templates include tips on what to include in each column. Mandatory fields show in blue and optional fields show in yellow.
Once you've identified the template you want to use, follow the steps below to prepare it for import.
Hover your cursor over the heading on each column for useful information about that field.
Your file is ready for you to import.
The data import function includes options to import the different templates included in your software.
Once you've prepared a template file and you're ready to import it, use the table below to find which import option to select.
Employee Details option. This will create new employee records or update existing records.
When you use the Employee details import, double check your employee's tax code.
