We've completed our testing! In December we were excited to announce the release of Sage CRM 2018 R1 for our standalone customers. At the time, we asked that you bear with us while we completed some additional testing before implementing this new version of CRM at sites using the Sales, Marketing and Service for Sage 200 Connector. We're pleased to say that this testing has uncovered no new issues and as such we now support the current version of the connector (4.1) with Sage CRM 2018 R1 and either Sage 200 Professional 2016 or Sage 200 Professional Summer 2017 Enhancement. At this stage, using the connector with the upcoming Sage 200 Professional Winter 2017 Enhancement is not supported, but subject to further successful testing we hope to be able to include support for this shortly after its release. What’s new? While there are no new changes to the connector itself, connected sites can now get the benefits of the features in Sage CRM 2018 R1, such as: - Calendar - Speed improvements, increased use of Drag and Drop, additional columns in task lists, a simplified process for creating custom action types.
- Tabs & Menus - Simplify a user’s screens by moving rarely used tabs into a ‘More’ dropdown, rather than having to hide them completely.
- Mailchimp - Will now put an alert on-screen if you try to send a duplicated or invalid email address to Mailchimp in a group email.
- SQL Express - Subject to certain limitations, SQL Express 2014 64-bit edition is now supported for small production environments, not just testing – see the release notes for more details.
Full details of the fixes and enhancements can be found in the release notes available from the Help Centre (http://help.sagecrm.com). For sites using the Sage 200 CRM integrated version, this is still in development and is on course to be included in the Sage 200 Spring 2018 Enhancements release. Where do I get the Download? The connector, documentation and Sage CRM 2018 R1 can all be downloaded from the Resource Centre. Kind regards Sage Support |
