Add the SAP file types and install folders to your antivirus exceptions. This helps prevent data issues and keeps things running smoothly. Apply this on all workstations and on the server if it stores the data.

Find the following locations to add to your antivirus exceptions list

1. Open SAP.
2. Click Tools followed by Settings. 
3. Choose Workstation Settings. 
4. Note the Client List Path and Default Data Path.
