EPS - Inform HMRC that no payment is due for a previous tax month

If there are no payments due to HMRC for previous tax months, you need to submit the employer payment summary (EPS) to let HMRC know. It's as simple as that, read on for some quick steps to take you through it.

Click Payroll then click Change Process Date.
Enter the last day for the previous tax month, then click OK. TIP: The tax month runs from the 6th of the month to the 5th of the next month.
Click e-Submissions then click Employer Payment Summary.
Click You are informing HMRC that no payment is due for tax month X and previous tax months.
Click Next then enter the first tax month you’re indicating that no payment is due.
