Before you install
  • If you are not logged in as a user with local administrator access rights, you may be prompted for the network administrator username and password to install any necessary prerequisite software.
  • Close all other programs.
  • Disable any anti-virus software. Remember to restart your anti-virus software once the installation has finished.

Install on a workstation
  1. You can install Sage Corporation Tax on your workstation by browsing to the setup file. Your network administrator will have given you the path to the file location. For terminal server installations you should already have the path to the setup file location. It will be similar to \\\SuiteWorkstationInstaller.
  2. If you're using Windows 7, type the path into the Search programs and files box on the Start menu.

If you're using Windows 8, point your mouse to the top right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, then click Search. Type Run in the search box, then type the path into the box that opens.

If you're using Windows 10, right-click the Start menu, then click Run.

  3. When the folder opens, double-click the ClientSetup.exe file.
  4. Your computer will be checked to see if any prerequisite software is required before Sage Corporation Tax can be installed. If you need to restart the server, this is likely to affect any users connected to the server. Make sure everyone has saved their work before you restart the server.
  5. Once everything has installed, click Close. Sage Corporation Tax will open automatically.
