Managing your Sage 50 Office 365 integration options

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts and log in using your manager login.
  2. On the menu bar click Settings, then click Company Preferences.
  3. If prompted, enter your manager password then click Microsoft 365.
  4.  To close the company, click OK.

The following options are available.

Sage Business Centre

To open the Sage Business Centre where you can manage Microsoft 365 user access, click Sage Business Centre.

Once you activate your Microsoft 365 login you can also access the Sage Business Centre at https://ceo365portal.na.sage.com

We recommend you close any Microsoft Office software before you access the Sage Business Centre.

Data sync settings

By default, Sage 50 Accounts syncs with Microsoft 365 every hour. We recommend you keep this setting but you can change it if required. On the Sync my data with Microsoft 365 every list, click the frequency you want.

The sync frequency you choose affects the following:

  • How soon data from Sage Contact appears in Sage 50 Accounts
  • How soon data you enter in Sage 50 Accounts becomes available Microsoft 365 and Sage Contact
  • How quickly any synchronisation issues are reported to the Sage Business Centre
  • During the sync, the Sage 50 Accounts apps may report that the data is unavailable. The more frequent the sync, the more often this may occur

Sync now

At any time, to manually sync your data click Sync now.

Disconnect

To disconnect Sage 50 Accounts from Microsoft 365, click Disconnect.

This prevents further synchronisation but doesn't remove your data from Microsoft 365.

Re-enter Microsoft 365 ID

Sage 50 Accounts stays logged in to Microsoft 365 for 90 days. After this period, to re-enter your Microsoft 365 login details click Re-enter Office ID, enter your new Microsoft 365 login and password, then click Sign in.
