During the installation of Sage software, one of the following error messages can appear:

'There was a problem installing .Net 3.5. You need to install .Net 3.5. manually before attempting to reinstall.'

'There was a problem installing .Net 4.6. You need to install .Net 4.6. manually before attempting to reinstall.'

'There was a problem installing .Net 4.7. You need to install .Net 4.7. manually before attempting to reinstall.'

This is because your computer doesn't have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, 4.6, or 4.7 enabled. Sage software needs this framework to run correctly.

Check for and install any Windows updates

1. In your computer's Search option, enter Windows updates.
2. Select Check for updates, then install any required updates.
3. Try installing Sage software again. If the same error appears, continue to the sections below.
