ERROR: 'There was a problem installing .Net X.X. You need to install...'
Description
During installation, Sage software sometimes shows an error stating that you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, 4.6, or 4.7 manually. For example:
'There was a problem installing .Net 4.7. You need to install .Net 4.7. manually before attempting to reinstall.'
Cause
Resolution
Check for and install any Windows updates
Select the Search option in your Windows taskbar.
Enter Windows updates, and press the Enter key.
Select Check for updates, then install any required updates.
Try installing your Sage software again. If the same error appears, continue to the section below.
