Description | This article has been prepared and issued to you as a goodwill gesture only and Sage accepts no liability or responsibility for its use. For further support please refer to your Business Partner. |
Resolution | - Select the numeric variable > Properties > Formatting > finder button > Numeric tab.
- Select the Use custom thousand separator check box > if the thousands separator window doesn't automatically appear, click Edit > ensure the thousands separator box is blank > OK > OK.
Tip: Alternatively, to add a thousand separator, put the symbol you require into the thousand separator box. - Preview the layout > if the thousands separator still appears > view > designer > double click the variable > copy the variable name > clear > CString(variable name) e.g. CString(SOPInvoiceCreditLines.LineTotalValue).
- This will read the value as a word rather then a number the therefore not contain a thousand separator.
