Description

You can have your say in the future of Sage 200. The Ideas Portal allows you to submit an idea, vote on ideas submitted by other users and track the ideas that are important to you.

NOTE: To access the Ideas Portal, you will need to create a My Sage login.

Resolution
Submitting a new idea
  1. Visit the Ideas Portal > select Sign in now > enter your email address and password > Log in.
  2. On the left-hand menu, select Add a new idea > Complete each of the fields > Share idea.

    TIP: As you type the title of your idea it will automatically search for existing ideas containing the same text.


Finding and following existing ideas
  1. Visit the Ideas Portal > select Sign in now > enter your email address and password > Log in.
  2. All ideas > select the filter you require > Select By date to select how to sort the list.

    TIP: You can also search for ideas. Use the 'Search the Sage Business Community' feature at the top of the screen > enter your search text > select the idea you want to view.

  3. Select the idea you wish to follow > Bookmark this idea.

Voting and commenting on existing ideas
  1. Visit the Ideas Portal > select Sign in now > enter your email address and password > Log in.
  2. Find the idea you want to vote or comment on.
  3. Click up or down to cast your vote to cancel your vote select the same arrow as your original vote, for example to cancel an up vote select on the up arrow. To comment complete Leave a comment section > Post.

Hints and Tips

Definitions of the statuses
  • New - Posted but not yet reviewed by Sage UK Ltd.
  • Under Review - Awaiting review by the analyst or under consideration for inclusion.
  • Not Planned - At present is not under consideration to be included in later releases.
  • Complete - Added to Sage 200.

    TIP: To see more information about why an idea was assigned it's status, see the comments section of the idea. 

When searching or submitting an idea try to include either the area of the program or the name of the feature. For example Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger or Enter New Order.

When logging a bug try to avoid jargon or unusual terms so it is easy for other users to find.

Use filters to easily find ideas that you have previously interacted with.
