To check if, you've already installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4 - Windows key + R > enter appwiz.cpl > OK.
A list of installed programs appears.
- Click Turn Windows features on or off.

TIP: If a Microsoft recommends page appears, click No thanks and continue.
- From the File Download window, make a note of the file name, dotnetfx40_full_x86_x64.exe, then click Save.
- Browse to the required location for the file and click Save.
You've now successfully downloaded Microsoft .NET Framework 4. For instructions on how to install this, click the Install it tab. To install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 - Locate and double-click the saved file, dotnetfx40_full_x86_x64.exe
- If a security warning window appears, to run the file, click Run.
- From the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Setup window, select the I have read and accept the license terms check box, then click Install.
NOTE: The installation may take several minutes to complete.
- When the installation completes, to close the installer click Finish.
- If you're prompted to restart the computer, close any other software then click Restart Now. Alternatively, to wait until later, click Restart Later.
