How to clear all stock values to zero
Description

 To do this the following options are available:

  • Rebuild stock transactions - This also removes all stock activity and project transactions.
  • Use the Stock Take option.

This guide explains how to use each of the options above to clear the stock quantities.

NOTE: You must ensure you have a backup of your data before you complete either of these options.

Rebuild stock transactions

NOTE: This option removes all of the stock activity and project transactions. If you want to keep a record of the stock activity and your project transactions, please follow the steps in Use the Stock Take option.

  1. File > Maintenance > Yes to close any open windows.
  2. Rebuild > clear the Keep my Stock Transactions check box > OK.
  3. Yes > OK > Close.
Use the Stock Take option
  1. Products and services > Swap > Stock take.
  2. In the Actual column, enter 0.00 for each product.
  3. Post Stock take > Close.
