Back up your Sage Accounts Production data regularly to protect your data.
 NOTE: Your backup file uses the client name, date, and time with the extension ADS. 

1. Close any open datasets. To do this click File, then click Close dataset.
    NOTE: If you don’t see this option, you’ve already closed the dataset.

    

2. Click Clients, then highlight the client you want to backup.
3. Click the Backup button. 
4. Click Create a backup of your data for support or security reasons then click Proceed.
5. Click OK.
