With ADM, you can access all your clients' data from a single consolidated list in the ADM console. Use ADM to install versions 30, 31 and v32 of Sage 50 Accounts Client Manager, either as part of the initial installation or at any point after you install ADM.
Before you begin
You can only integrate ADM with copies of Sage 50 Accounts that are registered as Client Manager.
With ADM you can control the receipt, restore, and return of your clients' backup and accountant link files. When you receive a backup from a client, all you need to do is import the file into ADM.
To save you time, ADM automatically:
- Detects the version of the software the data originates from
- Creates a new company in that version in ADM
- Restores the data into that company
Prepare to install ADM
Before you install ADM, check your computer meets the system requirements. Also check that you're logged on to the computer as a user with full administrative rights.
If you're upgrading, make a note of the ADM program folder path:
- On your desktop, right-click the Accountants' Dataset Manager icon and click Properties
Download and install ADM
- Close all software and, to download ADM, click the button below:

NOTE: This includes the ADM console and v32, v31, and v30. For the console only, use this link.
2. This will download automatically to your downloads folder, or click Save.
3. To begin the installation, locate and double-click the downloaded file. To view your Downloads folder, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard.
4. Select the I accept the terms of the Licence Agreement check box then click Next.
5. To change the installation folder, click Browse, select the required folder, and click OK.
6. Select the versions of Sage 50 Accounts you want to install, alongside the ADM.
If a check box is ticked and disabled, the version is already installed.

- Click Next, then click Yes, begin installation.
- If prompted to restart your computer, ensure all work is saved, then click Restart now.
- On your desktop, double-click the Accountants' Dataset Manager icon.
- If prompted, enter your Client Manager Serial Number, Activation Key and, if required, Account Number, then click Continue.
You only need to enter your registrations details once, regardless of how many versions you subsequently choose to install. You can't enter serial numbers and activation keys from a previous year’s version.
Using ADM
After you install ADM, a new shortcut is added to your desktop. To open ADM and view the console, double-click this shortcut. See our Using Accountants' Dataset Manager (ADM) article for more information.
