Description

When you try to download transactions through the My Opayo / Sage Pay download wizard, the following message appears:

'Could not connect to Opayo / Sage Pay service. Please check your settings and Internet connection'

Resolution

In the first instance, check that you have a compatible version of Sage 50 Accounts. To maintain compliance with mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, from 11 June 2018 you must be using Sage 50 Accounts v24 or later to integrate with Opayo (formerly Sage Pay).

To check your version number in Sage 50 Accounts.

  • Click Help then click About.

If you are already using Sage 50 Accounts v24 or above, refer to our further troubleshooting steps.
