Add or remove a template from your document
Description

If you have a report which you'd like to add a template to, it's easy to add one in.

First, you'll need to locate your Templates folder, let's do this now.

Check where your template files are located

Template files are stored in a folder called TEMPLATE, in your Settings directory.

To locate this, click Help, then click About. Under the Program Details heading, note the Settings Directory.


Add or remove a template

  1. In Sage 50 Payroll, click Reports.
  2. Select the report you want to amend, then click Edit.
  3. In the properties window, click Template, then click the finder button .
    TIP: If you can't see the properties pane, click the View menu then click the Properties option.
  4. Select the required template file, then click OK.
    TIP: To remove an existing template, highlight the entry and press delete on your keyboard.
  5. If you want the template to print, change the Print Template drop-down to True, otherwise select False.
  6. On the menu bar click File, then click Save As.
  7. Enter a new file name then click Save.
  8. On the menu bar click File, then click Exit.
  9. Your report with the template can now be found by clicking Reports, then click User Defined (Local).
