The country code for Greece in Sage Accounts is GR. HMRC advises that the country code is EL.

Sage legally must adhere to the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) regulations. These regulations various areas, one of which is country codes.

NOTE: If you're based in Northern Ireland, when you submit your EC Sales List, EL is used in the xml file that Sage 50 Accounts submits. The Value Added Tax EC Sales List report uses an expression to display EL instead of GR for Greece.
